Hi all:
To let everyone know, we leave for Shands on Tuesday evening in order to be over for Rachel's pre-op appointment at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday morning. We should find out later Wednesday evening what time to be over there for her surgery on Thursday.
The surgery is for Dr. Bleweis, the same surgeon from last time, to replace the pulmonary valve that he replaced five years ago due to leakage and narrowing. This is not unexpected as he told us after her last surgery that it would need to be replaced. Also, he plans on sealing off at least a couple of holes in her heart that they have purposely left open in the past.

I know your Grandma Linda through the Grandparents site. You will be in my thoughts and prayers all through your surgery and recovery. I pray for the doctors and nurses that will perform the procedures and care for you in your recovery. Just know that you have SO many friends and family supporting you during this time, and always. Just remember one thing....

Hi Rachel,
God's got this! We will keep you in our prayers, but have faith that you are in God's healing hands. I hope Mr. Larry will be taking notes on the Hannah Montana for you to catch up on when you are up to it.
